Chipmunk Cheeks

Sweet Maddy got her wisdom teeth extracted on friday morning. OUCH!

She did really well; we had and awesome oral surgeon, and she was a great patient.

Due to a promise made before the surgery, I am unable to post any pictures. But... this might give you an idea--

Actually, I totally did that for a laugh-- she looks great! She was great about keeping her ice on and getting rest. Sometimes I just can't help myself. :D

Thanks for stopping by my blog. You are absolutely beautiful! (I mean that in a totally NON-creepy way!!)

I'm glad she's doing o.k. I never had wisdom teeth, but i have watched one of my children get their wisdom teeth pulled--not a fun experience. (Great picture ; )

I'm glad she's ok. I remember having mine out and it wasn't a great experience.

Oh poor girl! The picture of the chipmunk, lol! I saw her Sunday and she did look a little swollen, ouch! When I first read your post, I thought it said "she had a really handsome oral surgeon" lol!! I was going to say, "well that's always nice!" hehe

Well, she couldn't have been too bad, because I thought she looked adorable yesterday. Wisdom teeth extraction is YUCKY!

My oldest son and I got our wisdom teeth extracted the same year, and neither one of us had any swelling at all! When it was time for our daughter to have hers extracted, we told her she'd probably be the same as us, but NO! She followed all the instructions, but she STILL looked like a chipmunk for over a week! :0

I can't believe the sweet girl I used to babysit just got her wisdom teeth out! Wow. She's still 6 in my mind. I got dry sockets and an infection afterwards so good luck!
