The only thing is...
It's not really like a journal at all, in that others read and comment. (yeah! keep commenting, I love it) So, with that comes a desperate desire to seem interesting. But sometimes things are just not. You know?
Like today.
Wake up.
Take kids to Seminary.
Sleep in car-- I like to read, but couldn't do it today
Come home.
Take big kids to school.
Come home.
Feed little kids. Work on Kindergarten project. Get kids dressed.
Take a shower.
Pick up carpool. Take Kindergartener to school.
Come home.
Check weather, blogs, write lists, change laundry loads and load dishwasher.
Make an appointment.
Pick up Kindergartener from an extra-short 2-hour day~
Come home.
Feed little kids.
It is now 1:17 pm.
See what I mean? Interesting? No.
But I love my life.
I am glad that I can stay home with my kids. Glad for all of the uninteresting moments that make my life mine.
Right now in the background I hear:
Kids squealing, a bike being ridden with great joy through the house and the dog growling to get back her beloved toy.
Nicky spins around wearing his Hot Wheels helmet; Lilly's pigtails are flying.
Life is Good.

Do you sit and wait for the girls? Or do you just go home for a minute? Greg taught this morning. He said he was pleasantly surprised at how good the kids were.
I love your attitude towards life...Life is crazy, but great. Your house sounds like mine...with kids riding their bikes through it. You are such a great mom!
Good for you--that's what life is all about, and that's what TRULY makes life great.
I agree with emily--you are a great mom.
I love my totally boring life. I know what you mean - sometimes it's hard to sound interesting. 'Cuz sometimes, it's just not. And that's OK.
BTW - our "hike" was on the backside of the spillway from Lake Worth. You get to the path entrance just off Robert's Cut-Off road.
Sounds like you have a wonderful life. Everyday life may not be glamorous but you sure do have all the love and support you could want.
That sounds like a fabulous day! ;-)
I like being a stay-at-home Mom, too.
Well, except the screaming. And the tantrums. The screaming and the tantrums, I could do without. ;-)
Your ordinary day IS interesting for me to read about. Being a stay at home mom gives us the deepest fulfillment.
You wrote that so well.
I love my 'boring' life too.
Hugs!

Life is good, isn't it?
Sounds like a happy day to me! :)
I don't post often, because I have to save up bits and pieces of SEVERAL days to make something interesting! :)
You are so awesome! You always put things in perspective - I love that about you!
