I guess that I am not the only one who has asked this question. Here's what I found out.
From the Oxford English Dictionary, which says the saying may come from "a barrel of laughs," and word historian Charles E. Funk, who wrote: "One monkey arouses a great deal of amusement. Two or more then double the...amusement. If one were to release a barrelful...of monkeys, we must suppose that their antics would become hilariously comical."
Anybody want to play a game? It really is fun.

I find that really amusing! When I was on my mission in Portugal, we went to the zoo on PDay once and the monkeys there were seriously hilarious. We laughed our heads off! Thanks for the info. You learn something new everyday!
That is really funny, you crack me up.
By the way, how are the kids doing?
Glad you found some answers for your question...you should start a "crazy question" trend, get ppl to submit mad, unusual questions and see who comes up with the most original answer..just a thought:)
