Unfortunately, due to the slow post-op healing of my FIL's knee, our trip out to Arizona has been postponed.We were very excited to see family. John's dad and his wife live out there. Two of her daughters and their families also live there. They are all very fun to be around and we don't get to see them very often.
We were also going take our big girls to the temple there in Mesa. We were very much looking forward to that...
And, I was going to get to meet Nancy, Lauren and Chel! {which brings me to a funny coincidence...
okay, so NancyFace knows my FIL and MIL! She grew up with my MIL's daughters listed above, how bizarre is that???}
Anyway, because of conflicting schedules it doesn't look like it is going to happen this summer. sniff, sniff.
The Sunny Side:
My FIL will do much better when his knee is healed. They are going to try to come out to see us soon.

I hope your FIL's knee heals quickly and that he's up and around soon.
What a bummer.
My FIL had a total knee replacement and it took FOR.EV.ER for it to heal. But once it did he was like a new man!
I didn't know he had knee surgery! I guess Jackie failed to mention that! She knows all about knees though!
