Random Thankfulness

I am thankful for the great image above. How true it is! Do any of you know an idle mother? Is it physically possible?

In the spirit of yesterday's post, I am going to dedicate this month's posts to thankfulness. There is just so much in my life to be thankful for, especially this year.

I am going to do a series of posts on the devastating illness and recovery of my daughter Lilly. Many people have asked for details, and I need to journal them.

I am really grateful for this blogging world. I am new to it, and I have enjoyed so much the camaraderie found here. I love to hear about what other moms are doing and how they 'find joy in womanhood.' Being a girl is awesome, being a mom of girls is an awesome responsibility! You all inspire me to be better and to do better. I am thankful for a forum that fosters friendship. I am a bit of a hermit at times, just my nature, and this helps me to feel connected to great women even when I am puttering around my home doing projects, changing diapers and cleaning the house.

Here's to us, girls!

I love the blogging world. Since moving to Idaho from California two years ago, I've struggled to find a way to fit in and meet people. I have met people, but I seem to connect with my blogging friends more! I can be very hermit-ish too!

I love being a girl! I don't have daughters, but I love being a mom to my sons.

I agree with the whole blogging thing. My husband is a technology junkie and works in computer software. He was teasing me the other day because he thinks if we had a face off going cold turkey without our laptops, I would cave first. "It's my work but it's your social life." So true, so true.

Hear hear! I love the blogging world too. It feels good to still be able to know what is happening in all my friends lives since I moved away. Plus being able to meet new friends from all over has just been an added bonus!

Being a girl is GREAT!! Being a mother is a wonderful perk!
