As you can see by the photo, he got quite a bit of bruising about 2 days later. He looks really beat up and everyone always does a double-take and looks me over really well! It's so uncomfortable.
The removal was not uneventful (of course) and he had to be restrained and laid on while they removed the stitches. It is healed well, but started to bleed again, so I asked them to glue it with the Dermabond. I just knew that he would pick at it, so more restraining and screaming followed. UGH.
However, the volunteer felt so sorry for him that he managed to score a super tractor!
Me and the other man in my life.
Our deal was that after we got his stitches out that we would go to get a treat at the cafeteria and then ride the elevator! Nicky got chocolate milk, a donut and Froot Loops! What did I get? It doesn't matter... I am sure that it was healthly. ;-)
Safety Bear!
Imagine our delight to find Safety Bear and his policeman friend doing a song and dance number in the atrium!
Nicky got to meet Safety Bear, and yes, I got credit for hooking him up!
Gotta love it.

Poor Guy! Every time my boys rough house, I am just waiting for something bad to happen, they just love to "wrestle."
Cute pictures, I hope his little face is healing okay still. Safety bear, how funny. I bet he loved it!
