What's My Job?

In an interview with Diane Sawyer, President Obama stated that his job is to,
"solve problems and help people..."
Really?  I kind of thought that he had a nobler obligation.
When a president takes the oath of office, he/she swears,
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Maybe he should have read the WHOLE job description before applying for the position of
Commander-in-Chief.

Tonight is the State of the Union Address.  Good thing I have lots of great stuff recorded on my DVR!!

It's Snowing on my Blog!

It is snowing here at Sunny Side Up (if you are using a reader, check it out) thanks to a super-fun widget at Shabby Blogs.

In other news, I was completely spoiled rotten (just the way I like it) by my family and friends for my birthday. Yay me!

Do you think the hat is too much?
