In my evening/late night decompression time, when the house is quiet and the computer is mine... ALL MINE!! [evil laugh
ahem, sorry for that outburst...
Anyway during these last few lovely moments before collapsing into bed, I like to check on my favorite blog sites.
Little Birdie Secrets is just one of those sites, and one day, oh yes, one of these days, I will actually do some of the fabulous ideas featured here!
This one is truly ingenious~~ Embroidering your kids' art! Look how cute!
Go here for the tutorial. You don't have to thank me... but you are welcome. :D

CREATE!

Is anyone else aware of the Mormon Messages on YouTube?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a new outlet for video messages. I got lost in them. There are video MormonAds, Talks, you name it! Wow. I am overwhelmed.
On my travels I found this little treasure:
As spirit daughters of a loving Heavenly Father, "happiness is your heritage," said President Dieter F. Uchtdorf Sept. 27 during the General Relief Society Meeting.

I love Dieter F. Uchtdorf! This was an amazing talk. Don't we all have that yearning to create? How wonderful to have our natures validated! Such an amazing message. Please share. :D
I love the simple message found on the Mormon messages on YouTube.

Have a Blessed Sunday.

Warning: Clicking on "Related Videos" or "Promoted Videos" may take you to videos outside of the Church's control which could contain inappropriate content. All of the videos listed on this page as well as those listed as "More From: MormonMessages" are safe.

Old Moms

The funniest post that I read this week was from Bee and Rose. It was well-appreciated by this 'old mom'.
Enjoy!

Come on, Spring!

Welcome Spring. (stop)
Here are your duties. (stop)
Chase away the cold and grey. (stop)
Shine through our windows and inspire me to eat my veggies. (stop)
Hurry! (stop)

* Here in Texas the weather is crazy. It is true that we had 90-degree weather last week. It is also true that it was in the low 30s overnight this past weekend. While our trees bud and allergies abound, a cold snap can come out of nowhere. Our kids freeze or sweat. I feel like they are NEVER dressed appropriately.

Consistency. I crave meteorological consistency. And yes, today it is springish, and this post seems somewhat lame. It is what it is.

The End
